Women empowerment and gender equality are the two main mottos for the growth of our nation. WDC was formed to give efforts for achieving this outcome. The cell members works with the aim to create the community as well as the society with gender equilibrium. For this, the cell organising various seminars and workshops for spreading knowledge regarding gender equality and importance of women in society.

Objectives of WDC:

1.     To create social awareness about the problems of women and in particular regarding gender discrimination.

2.     To develop the self confidence of women.

3.     To guide about women welfare laws.

4.     To assert the importance of spiritual, economic, social, racial and gender equality.

5.     To maintain and strengthen the status of women.

6.     To highlight the importance of health and hygiene.

7.     To organize seminar, workshops relating to women development.
