One day workshop was organized by Microbiology Department on 21.1.23 in Sanskar Kendra for T.Y.B.Sc. and M.Sc. Microbiology students on the subject "Bioinformatics Approaches for Biological Challanges". The resouce person invited was Dr. Murtaza Hajoori, HOD, Microbiology Department, Bhagwan Mahavir College of Basic and Applied Sciences, Surat. 176 Participant students attended the workshop. He taught various bioinformatics tools like NCBI BLAST, MSA by Clustal Omega, Simple Phylogeny, Secondary protein Structure Prediction, Homology Modelling of proteins by EMBL Swiss Model etc. to participants.
