As per requirement of curriculum Industrial visit was arranged for M.Sc. Part 1 Microbiology students at Atul Limited, Pharmaceutical Division. Students were able visit Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient making plant, where they were able to observe various plant operations like cooling tower, water demineralization plant, dryer, centrifuge, autoclaves, reactors, HPLC, GC, FTIR, TOC analyzer, Air sampler and Microbiology laboratory facilities. Students were able to learn many practical aspects like safety measures GMP, GLP, SOP, MSDS etc.  The visit was highly fruitful to us and our students as it was able to fill some gap between academics and industry.
